Sentinel is a personal, self-hosted application operated by Louis for his own use. It runs on his own computer and is not offered to anyone else. This policy describes what it does with data obtained through Google APIs.
Sentinel requests the Google Calendar scope calendar.events. With it, Sentinel reads events from the calendars of the Google accounts Louis has authorised, and creates or updates events on those calendars. It does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google service through OAuth.
Calendar data is used only to show Louis his own schedule and to add events on his behalf, for example a deadline found on a course website. Nothing is used for advertising, profiling, training models available to others, or any purpose beyond operating the application for its single user.
OAuth tokens are stored in the operating-system keyring on Louis's computer. A local, append-only journal records the application's actions, including the calendar data it read; this journal never leaves that computer. Google data is not sold, shared with, or transferred to any third party, and no other person has access to it.
Sentinel's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the stored token is useless. Locally stored data can be deleted by removing the application's data directory.
